A proud native of the Arkansas hill-country, Nick has been churning out creepy art compulsively since birth. Influenced by 90's Nickelodeon cartoons, dinosaurs, and a life-long sense of impending doom, his art seeks to inject a little morbid hilarity into his viewer's life. Nick has high hopes and low standards for his work, and hopes you feel the same.
Chad fell in love with comics and drawing at a young age and he's had ink on his fingers ever since. Chad's influences include old comics, mid-century design and illustration, and traditional print - making techniques. Chad likes to create illustrations and apparel that reflect his love of retro ephemera and incorporate his passion for comic book and cartoon illustration. Designing for Fayettechill is a labor of love since it gives an excuse to focus on illustrating the beautiful Ozarks he calls home.
Raised in Bentonville, Arknasas, Marcus found his passion for drawing early in life and especially likes that he can entertain his friends and family with his pieces. Marcus has long been a cartoon contributor to the Traveler and will soon graduate from the University of Arkansas' Landscape Architecture program, with loose plans after graduation to simply follow his passions. Currently, his most prominent goal in life is to obtain a sailboat, to which he plans to bestow the title "Emma Sophia" after his current dog. Mindful of the future, Marcus plans to outlive his wife. Following her passing, Marcus plans to refrain from leaving Emma Sophia to his children or selling it, and instead would like to take both boat and wife's ashes out to sea, get lost, and die. This, he believes, will accomplish his romantic ideal of dying with his two lady lovers.
Born in Brussels, Joelle moved to Fayetteville in 2001 and has called it her home ever since. Joelle taught herself to draw and read through comic books, and their influence can be seen in her unique blend of futures, surrealism, and expressionism styles. In addition to Fayetteville's culture, Joelle is inspired by sharing experiences with friends and stories with strangers, the internet, and Jim Carrey's ability to bring animated expressions to reality.
